30 août, Vals-les-Bains.
Que ça fait moche avec le masque ! Et photo rarissime, merci Patrick qui avait mon appareil pour photographier le chapitre de la Confrérie, prise sur le fait de vendre un livre. Un bon salon du point de vue de contacts et de ventes. Le soleil n'était pas toujours au rendez-vous, donc parfois on avait un peu froid - après la chaleur des semaines précédentes, ça faisait bizarre.
30 August. Doesn't the mask look dreadful! I gave my camera to Patrick to take pictures during the "Confrerie" ceremony, and he took a couple of pictures, one of which was of me selling a book. Not often that happens - the photo, not selling a book! It was a good book fair from that point of view. Not very warm though, after the recent hot weather.
25 août, nouvelle séance de dédicaces à la Belle Hoursette, pendant le marché nocturne. Rencontres intéressantes.

19 août, Rivières.
La bibliothèque de ce petit village dans le Gard organisait un petit salon en fin d'après-midi sur la place ombragée de platanes. Très bonne idée. Cela faisait du bien de voir du monde. Le chapeau cache les cheveux qui manquent - merci Covid.
The library in Rivières, a small village in the Gard, organised a mini book fair on the village square in the shade of plane trees. A very good idea, and it was good to see people we knew. The hat is there to hide the missing hair - thank you Covid.
25 juillet, signature aux Vans. 10 livres "Jalès" de vendus, ce qui était très bien. J'ai beaucoup parlé, et fait de la pub pour les visites à la commanderie. C'est d'ailleurs mon tour jeudi 30.
Signing session at the bookshop in Les Vans on 25 July. 10 books sold, which is good. I also told a lot of people about the visits at the Commandery. It's my turn on 30th.
18 juillet : Anduze
Covid oblige, j'ai mis ma visière pour ce salon très sympathique et bien organisé par la mairie. J'y suis allée avec Françoise et Marion. Très bon repas à midi au restaurant. J'ai vendu plusieurs exemplaires de "Jalès".
18 July, off with some colleague authors to Anduze for a book fair organised by the town hall. Lovely food for lunch. I wore the visor we use at the Commandery. I sold several copies of "Jalès".

Du néant pendant ces cinq mois grâce au roi Covid XIX.
Mais pendant le confinement, l'écriture continuait à la maison, comme on peut le voir d'après les photos ...

Nothing happened for five months thanks to King Covid XIX. However, behind the scenes the writing went on, as can be seen from the photos.
Premier salon de l'année, le 26 janvier à Charols dans la Drôme. Je me suis retrouvée avec d'autres membres du Cercle et nous avons passé une bonne journée à discuter ensemble. Pas mal de visiteurs, mais les ventes auraient pu être meilleures.
The first book fair of the year, at Charols in the Dröme. There was a bunch of us from the Cercle, so we were able to have a good chat. Quite a few visitors came, but sales could have been better.
